What do I do next?
Call AVLC to schedule a free consultation. If you are found to
be a candidate for one of our refractive surgeries, you will then
be scheduled for a comprehensive exam. This exam includes a refraction,
mapping of the cornea, measuring corneal thickness, and a thorough
retinal exam. The comprehensive exam has a fee ranging $100 to $200
and is deducted from your surgery cost if you schedule surgery within
3 months.

contact lenses?
If you wear soft contact lenses you must remove them at least ten
days before your exam and before surgery. If you wear hard lenses,
you must remove them at least 3 weeks before the exam and before
surgery.

When performed by an experienced surgeon, it is a safe procedure.
